Description
PRN-Bilingual SLP-CCC openings in pediatrics for after school home visits in South Dallas County, Tarrant county. Speech Language Pathologists are qualified, licensed professionals who provide, evaluate and supervise speech and language therapy to patients in their home as prescribed by the attending physician.
 
Qualifications
    • Willing to work for the best pediatrics company in Dallas Fort Worth.
    • Currently licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas or have the ability to obtain a license in the state of Texas.
    • Relevant clinical experience, 1 year or more preferred.
    • Graduate of an accredited school program of speech language pathology, in possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
 
Duties
    • Performs in depth patient evaluation and develops treatment plans in accordance with physician's orders.
    • Implements treatment plan, provides state of the art speech language pathology services.
    • Instructs patients, their families and other members of the health team in regards to therapy procedures.
    • Reports pertinent observations and reactions regarding changes in patient status to the appropriate team person.
    • Maintains patient's medical record in accordance with agency standards, completes and submits patient records in a timely manner.
    • Participates in patient care conferences, communicates with other members of the home health team to facilitate coordination of patient care.
    • Participates in staff development and in-service education and procedures with the agency to learn new treatments, procedures and development skills.
    • Performs all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures. Adheres to all rules, regualtions, code of ethics, guidelines and codes in federal, state and local laws, which are concerned with the practice of speech language pathology.
