Information Technology Associate Part time
 
Description
The Information Technology (IT) associate is responsible for a variety of desktop PC and Mac support functions, business office IT equipment setup, software installations / upgrades, video conference center equipment maintenance, and general equipment maintenance for multiple home health care offices. The IT associate will travel to multiple home health care offices and support all company PC and Mac users.
 
Qualifications
    • College degree preferred in Information Technology / computer science.
    • One-year minimum experience with any Mac graphics applications, PC website design, editing tools, graphics design, or related software applications.
    • Experience using software, PC or MAC, applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Contribute, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro and HTML/CSS.
    • Experience with desktop and mobile devices. Working knowledge of standard (MS Windows / MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, Excel Spreadsheets) software applications required.
    • Excellent administrative and communication skills.
 
Duties
    • Performs desktop support for multiple home health care business offices, requiring driving between offices.
    • Provided technical support by phone to fieldstaff and multiple offices regarding desktops and mobile devices.
    • Handles installation and upgrades of software for both PC and Mac for all users.
    • Responsible for conference center maintenance of equipment – computers, projectors, microphones, audio and video equipment.
    • Responsible for replacing and ordering hardware equipment parts, such as copier toner.
    • Properly escalates equipment or software issues to Director of Communications/Information Technology Coordinator and/or outside vendor(s) as required.
    • On request, may videotape and edit events and activities using desktop computer and software.
    • Burn / duplicate DVDs, CDs for training purposes.
    • Troubleshoot PC / Mac issues and escalate as required.
    • Responsible for maintenance of all IT equipment as directed.
    • Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times when interacting with agency clients, visitors, vendors or personnel.
    • Is flexible and able to perform a wide variety of IT support functions. May create, edit, design, layout, or produce marketing materials, advertising materials, in-house communications as directed.
    • Assists with ordering IT equipment as required and verifying invoices with accounts payable. Assists with inventory control of IT equipment.
    • Repairs or discards broken, damaged, obsolete IT equipment according to HIPAA guidelines and THERAPY 2000 policy. Performs all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures. Adheres to all rules, regulations, code of ethics, guidelines and codes in federal, state and local laws, which are concerned with the Licensed and Certified Home Health Agency.
