Description:
This course will explore the connections between feeding and gastrointestinal system disorders commonly found in infants and children. The course will include topics such as alterations in the microbiome and functioning of the gut-brain axis and enteric nervous system. It will cover gastroesophageal reflux disease, motility disorders, allergies, and congenital anomalies of the gastrointestinal system. Additionally, diagnostic testing and common management strategies will be described.
