Description: The class will offer information on descriptions of different formulas for infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents which have increased difficulty and tolerance with PO feedings. Discussion with also include formulas (difficulty and tolerance) for patients with tube feedings. The class will describe pros and cons of the formulas and health benefits as well as health related concerns with some formulas. GI issues related to allergies and intolerance will also be discussed.

  • 3. Participants will be able to list health concerns related to some formulas
  • 4. Participants will be able to list GI issues, concerns, and why they relate to feeding
