Alysha has been a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2015, and has spent her entire therapy career working in pediatric home health. In 2020 she welcomed the opportunity as an adjunct instructor at the PTA college she attended, Concorde Career College, helping teach lectures and lab courses to the future PTAs. She grew up in Rockwall, and now lives in Forney with her wonderful husband and their 3 rambunctious Siberian Huskies, Lucy, Saki and Beau Bennett. Alysha joined Therapy 2000 in 2022 as a PTA and has enjoyed every minute of it. She is now moving into a hybrid role treating patients and recruiting therapists to join the wonderful world of therapy. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her dogs, friends and her husband.

I have been with T2K since 2014. Prior to my time here, I worked extensively in pediatrics as an OT in ECI and school settings for 9 years. Throughout my career, I’ve had opportunities to serve amazing children of various ages and abilities, lead teams of some of the most creative and caring therapists, and provide education through small groups and CEUs. I have a passion for serving others, and I know I have found my true home here at T2K! I have enjoyed each step of my journey within our agency, where I have served in various roles from full time occupational therapist to Clinical Manager, and now Division Director for Ft. Worth.  I have learned and grown in each role I have played at T2K, and am honored to support Ft. Worth in excellence every single day! 
 
What I love most about home health is the joy that comes in working with children and their families in their natural environment.  Our therapists partner right alongside families and caregivers to provide services that are special and meaningful, and to maximize every child’s therapeutic potential.  No two days are the same in home health, which is where we find our FUN!
