Occupational Therapist Jobs in Corpus Christi
Therapy 2000 is hiring pediatric occupational therapists for in-home therapy positions across Corpus Christi and the surrounding Texas Gulf Coast communities. We work with infants, children, and young adults (birth through age 21) in their homes, schools, and outpatient settings, helping them build the skills they need for daily life and independence. If you’re an OT or COTA looking for meaningful work with flexibility, local support, and real professional growth, Corpus Christi is a market where your expertise is genuinely needed.
In-home pediatric occupational therapy offers something many traditional clinic settings don’t: direct access to a child’s real environment. You see what matters—the kitchen where a kid learns to eat independently, the bedroom where fine motor skills translate to getting dressed, the community spaces where social participation happens. This setting lets you design interventions that actually stick because families can practice them daily, in the moments that count.
Corpus Christi’s pediatric population is growing, and the demand for OTs far exceeds supply. You’re not competing for limited openings; you’re choosing among positions. That scarcity also means fair compensation and real negotiation room.
Your day-to-day work includes comprehensive OT evaluations using standardized assessments, developing individualized treatment plans aligned with family goals, and delivering skilled therapy sessions that address sensory processing, motor delays, self-care, school readiness, and social-emotional development. You’ll document progress carefully, communicate regularly with families and referring providers, and advocate for your clients in school systems and medical settings.
You’ll also manage your own schedule—one of the biggest perks of in-home work. Within company structure and caseload requirements, you control when and where you see clients, which means you can build a week that actually works for your life. Travel time between homes is part of the job, but it’s predictable and within the Corpus Christi area.
You’ll have clinical supervision, continuing education resources, and a team that understands the unique demands of pediatric home health behind you. You’re not isolated; you’re part of a larger clinical community.
Why Work With Us
Therapy 2000 operates one of the largest pediatric in-home therapy networks in Texas. We’ve been doing this work for decades, which means our operations, clinical standards, and support systems are mature. We know what works. We also recently expanded significantly by acquiring Circle of Care and joining KidsCare, forming a national pediatric home health provider—so your growth opportunities are real. Many of our OTs have moved into clinical leadership, mentorship, and specialty program development.
Locally in Corpus Christi, we have established relationships with pediatricians, schools, and families, which means your referral pipeline is steady and your work is recognized in the community.
Mentorship Program
Every OT who joins T2000 gets structured mentorship, especially during the first 90 days. You’ll work closely with an experienced clinician who knows the Corpus Christi market, understands our clinical approach, and is genuinely invested in your success. This isn’t a checkbox; it’s active, ongoing guidance on caseload management, complex cases, family dynamics, and the operational side of the job.
If you’re a newer graduate or returning to practice after a break, mentorship is even more intensive. We’ve found that clinicians who come in with mentorship support stay longer, advance faster, and report higher job satisfaction.
Work-Life Balance
In-home therapy gives you schedule control that most clinic-based roles don’t offer. You can cluster sessions geographically, build in admin time between visits, and adjust your week if something comes up. Many of our OTs work four-day weeks; others prefer five days with lighter caseloads. It’s a conversation with your supervisor, not a rigid rule.
Corpus Christi’s cost of living is also lower than major Texas metros, so your paycheck stretches further here.
Free CEUs
We cover continuing education tuition and exam fees for courses relevant to your practice. This isn’t just the bare minimum to stay licensed; we’re talking about meaningful professional development—specialty certifications in autism, sensory processing, neurodevelopmental approaches, school-based practice, whatever strengthens your skills and keeps you engaged.
We also host internal learning sessions and bring in visiting clinical experts a few times per year, so you’re building knowledge without the out-of-pocket cost that drains so many therapists’ budgets.
I also love the support and guidance that I have received with T2K. I have grown so much as a CLM in the position with my management and leadership skills, which I can only credit to my amazing team. I also love the opportunities to grow and develop my clinical skill, and I feel I can always challenge myself in a safe and nurturing environment with mentors who help me grow!"
What I love most about T2000 is how they support me in my areas of interest and provide opportunities to help refine my skills as a clinician to give the best quality of services for the complex and medically-fragile pediatric population."
What I love about T2K is the importance of clinical excellence and putting our patients first. The team environment and everyone I work with!!"
I also love the flexibility this setting provides in various ways. The flexibility of navigating my own work schedule is great but being flexible to a child and family's needs as well. When working in the home environment, new concerns can arise quickly. I love that OT can pivot and address various developmental areas, so I find the home setting to be perfect for this."
We have amazing benefits 401K matching, Debt Crusher, PTO, and medical/dental/affordable vision insurance."
I always advise someone considering pediatric home health. To always choose a company with mentorship and remember to ask questions as those are the keys to growth. Thankfully T2K has an amazing mentorship program."
I love the openness and ability to speak freely and be heard. I love the resources and continuing education access we have. I love the ability to grow clinically, in leadership, or personally."
