Cade's passion for pediatric therapy started early, inspired by watching his mother, a speech therapist with Therapy 2000, make a difference in the lives of children and families.
"I saw how much she loved what she did and the impact she had," Cade said. "That really stuck with me."
Finding His Calling in Pediatric Therapy
That passion was reinforced during his physical therapy program, where clinical experiences working with children confirmed he had found his calling.
"There's nothing quite like seeing a child achieve something they've been working so hard toward," he said. "Being able to share those moments with families is incredibly rewarding."
Today, Cade loves the personalized nature of pediatric home health, partnering closely with families and helping children build skills in the environments where they live, learn, and play.
A Different Pace of Life in East Texas
For Cade, practicing in East Texas is an added bonus. While some people assume rural living means being far from everything, he sees it differently.
"Life is a little less hectic, people genuinely look out for one another, and there's a real sense of community here," he said.
And while destinations may be spread out, getting around is often easier than navigating the congestion of larger cities. East Texas also offers easy access to major airports and metropolitan areas when needed.
"You may drive a little farther to get somewhere, but in a lot of bigger cities you're spending that same amount of time sitting in traffic," Cade said.
A Team That Stays Connected
Another benefit has been the close-knit therapy community. Despite covering a large geographic area, therapists stay connected, collaborate regularly, and support one another.
"Nobody feels like they're on an island," Cade said. "Everyone is willing to help, share ideas, and work together for the best outcomes. It is an incredibly strong and supportive team."
It's that combination of meaningful work, strong relationships, and a welcoming community that makes East Texas the perfect place to work and live.
