SLP-Intern: Fort Worth
Kambrie is a SLP-Intern from Amarillo, Texas. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree with a minor in psychology from West Texas A&M University and her Master’s degree from the University of North Texas.
Throughout graduate school, she worked as an inpatient feeding technician under the speech therapists at Our Children’s House, assisting with intensive inpatient feeding therapy. She gained experience with adults in inpatient and outpatient settings at Texas Health Hospital in Alliance, in addition to inpatient and outpatient experience with pediatrics at Cook Children’s Hospital.
Through these experiences she has grown to love the pediatric population and developed a passion for feeding therapy. She is excited to be able to work in the homes with her patients and families to develop personalized goals and adjust according to the patient’s environment. She looks forward to growing her career and skillset with THERAPY 2000 and Green Apple Therapy.
She recently moved to the heart of Fort Worth with her rescue pup, Sage, and two best friends. She enjoys staying active and loves to start her day with a run. You can find Kambrie next to the pool or exploring the local farmer’s market with friends on the weekends. But, come football season, you will catch her at many college football games. She loves exploring and trying new things and is excited to see what Fort Worth has to offer.
